Jacobacci Avvocati is the first law firm to obtain sustainability certification for all its Italian offices in accordance with the SRG 88088 standard. This is a high-profile choice based on the adoption of a management system and actions in line with the objectives of the UN 2030 Agenda.
What does it mean to have chosen to obtain this type of certification?
For the professionals at the firm's helm, it means a concrete commitment to run their business in accordance with a certified sustainable development organisational model, respecting the three pillars (environment, social and governance) and with a view to continuously improving their performance.
The certification was obtained thanks to the commitment and work of an internal team led by partner Claudia Scapicchio and including lawyers Marina Cristofori, Laura Di Tecco and Lorenzo Gyulai, and staff representatives Daniela Chiavari and Luciana Cialdella.
“The certification process involved all of the firm's professionals and a large part of the staff, who felt a strong need to participate together in a process that would change our behaviour and not be imposed from above," says Claudia. "Each of us, in his or her role, has embraced with enthusiasm, responsibility and proactivity the changes needed to systematise what the firm had already been doing on these issues over the years and to improve our actions. We are convinced that a more conscious and committed ethical and responsible approach will make us even stronger to face the challenges that the legal sector is facing in these years of profound transformations, including cultural change, and to be more competitive in the market, also in terms of attracting new talent”.
