Marina has consolidated experience in the protection of patents, trademarks, designs, copyright, know-how, trade secrets and software, in judicial and extrajudicial dispute resolution, assisting both Italian and international clients.

Marina passionately follows her work, working alongside clients and creating tailor-made strategies helping them to effectively enhance and protect their intellectual property rights. Her main objective is to advise clients on the best strategies to adopt in both litigation and drafting contracts in the field of Intellectual Property rights.

She also handles Industrial Design, drafting and negotiating trademark licenses, trademark assignments and coexistence agreements. She assists clients in dealing with consumer protection and advertising compliance issues.

Marina also deals with IP related employment disputes and has attended an advanced course on European patents with unitary effect.

Professional Experience

Marina joined Jacobacci Avvocati in 2009 and has been a Counsel in the firm since 2024. She works in the Milan office.

Prior to joining the Firm, she served a stint at a well-known London law firm.

Education and Teaching

Law degree from the University Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna in 2009.

In 2020 she attended the Contract Law course at Harvard University.

In 2023, she attended the Advanced Course in European Patent with Unitary Effect organized by the University of Milan.

Professional Affiliations

Marina is a member of the Italian Court of Cassation; she has been a member of the Milan Bar Association since 2012.

She is a member of LIDC, International League of Competition Law.

Publications and Recognition

She has participated as a speaker in several seminars and conferences and has authored articles for both national and international legal journals on intellectual property, the most recent of which are dedicated to Unfair Competition and the Interactions between Intellectual Property and Sustainability:

Passions and Interests

Marina is passionate about travelling and the sea and enjoys reading and painting in her spare time.
