We are pleased to announce that our partner Barbara La Tella has been appointed Italian representative by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the UAE within the framework of the project launched during the Gulf International Congress 2023 held in Dubai in November.
The figure of the Italian Representative is a professional, lawyer, management consultant or chartered accountant, certified by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the UAE after a special selection process. The basic requirement for these professionals is to be able to offer Italian companies the necessary advice and support to approach the market of the United Arab Emirates and the entire Gulf region, whatever their needs may be.
Barbara La Tella thus becomes a point of reference for Italian companies interested in investing, exporting, setting up local units and establishing business relations in the UAE. Barbara's clients will be able to benefit from and access the Chamber's offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and an antenna in Riyadh, in a project that has recently begun to include Saudi Arabia. Another key benefit for clients is the ability to work with a team of selected and referenced local partners with specific expertise in local regulations.
The UAE has been of strategic importance for Italian exports for several decades: consider, for example, a 38% increase in 2022 figures compared to 2021, exceeding 6 billion euros, the highest historical figure.
The collaboration between the Chamber of Commerce - an institutional body - and the network of Italian agents spread throughout Italy, of which Barbara is a member, guarantees that Italian companies of any size and in any sector will be accompanied (even physically on site) along a supported path of proven quality and seriousness when they decide to expand their business in the United Arab Emirates.
