CJEU, Opinion of the Advocate General in C-591/16P (Lundbeck): patent settlements agreements may amount to a restriction of competition “by object”

On 4 June 2020, AG Julianne Kokott issued her Opinion in the Lundbeck case, confirming that the settlements between the patent holder and the generic manufacturers do restrict competition.
