Sofia Pollano
Sofia started her career as a trainee in the specialized department of a leading multipractice firm focusing on industrial and intellectual property rights. During this experience, she developed strong skills in both litigation and out-of-court matters, focusing on trademark and patent protection and broadening her knowledge of copyright and unfair competition.
Having a keen interest for new technology law, Sofia had the opportunity to work with the European Commission, where she took part in a working group focusing on the regulation of new digital borders.
In 2022, Sofia graduated in Law with honors from the University of Turin. During her studies, she had the opportunity to take part in prestigious international programs. In 2020, she was selected by Université Paris Cité for a dual degree program, and in 2021, by Georgetown University for a semester-long program in transnational studies at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London.
Sofia was also chosen to represent the University of Turin in the Jessup International Law Moot Court competition.
In 2024, she qualified as a lawyer before the Court of Appeal of Turin.
She was admitted to the Turin Bar Association in 2024.
Sofia loves travelling and enjoys adding a good novel to every adventure.
