Massimo Baghetti
Massimo specializes in contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, with particular emphasis on trademarks, design, copyright, patents, know-how, software, parallel imports and unfair competition.
He also advises on anticounterfeiting strategies including Customs, and civil and criminal litigation for which he regularly liases with Customs and police officials.
Massimo regularly deals with the mapping and due diligence of intangible assets, with particular reference to know-how, also as a prodromal activity for tax procedures such as the Patent Box and the revaluation of business assets under the current legislation.
Massimo graduated from the University Luigi Bocconi of Milan Law School in 2009, and was admitted to the (Naples) Bar in 2012. During 2008/2009 he was an intern at the Magneti Europe S.p.A. (previously Magneti Marelli S.p.A.) law office.
He attended the postgraduate course "Criminalità Informatica e Investigazioni Digitali" (a/a 2020-21) at the University of Milan - Department of Legal Sciences as well as the postgraduate course "Unitary Patent - Giurisprudenza" from February to June 2023 at the University of Milan.
