Maddalena has extensive experience in the field of Intellectual Property, in particular in litigation and arbitration in the areas of patents, trademarks, designs and copyrights. She is also experienced in anti-counterfeiting and customs protection.

Maddalena has had many years of experience in assisting both Italian and international clients, advising and assisting them in evaluating the most appropriate strategies, both in and out of court, in order to support them in developing and protecting their intellectual property rights.

Over the years, in addition to international contracts, trademark protection and anti-counterfeiting, she has developed particular expertise in pharmaceutical and mechanical patent litigation, industrial design and copyright protection.

Professional Experience

Maddalena joined the Turin office of the firm in 2008 and has held the role of Counsel since 2024.

Since joining the firm having just graduated, she has worked with numerous European and international companies to develop strategies to protect clients’ interests.

Education and Teaching

Maddalena graduated, cum laude, from the University of Turin in 2007.

Professional Affiliations

Maddalena has been a member of the Turin Bar Association since 2011.

Publications and Recognition

Maddalena has participated as a speaker in several seminars and conferences, including within well-known national companies, and is the author of several articles published by major Italian legal journals, including: "La tutela d’autore dell’industrial design: profili critici di conformità dell’art. 239 c.p.i. alla legge comunitaria" notes commenting on the judgment of the Court of Milan, Sez. spec. propr. industr. ed intell., September 13, 2012, published in "Giurisprudenza di merito," Giuffré editore, 11- 2013, p. 2394 et seq.

She has been in charge of drafting several articles also in international journals, including Lexology, in which the title "Judicial protection of 3D objects in Italy: Vespa Scooter paves the way for 3D Trademarks and Objects of Industrial Design" (April, 2017) and, as co-author, “Tutela del design industriale d’autore: vietato usare copie della LC2 di Cassina all’interno di trasmissioni televisive e serie TV” (April 2024).

Passions and Interests

Maddalena is passionate about adventurous travel to exotic destinations. In her spare time, she enjoys reading classic authors and outdoor activities with her family.
