Luca Ghedina
Luca Ghedina is a partner at the Turin office and the head of the German Desk. He specialises in IP law and unfair competition, representing clients in both contentious and transactional matters. He graduated in law with honours in 1995 from the University of Trento and was admitted to the Bar (Turin) in 2001. He has an LL.M. in German law, and a number of other qualifications.

Luca Ghedina
Luca specialises in Intellectual Property law and unfair competition, representing and advising clients in both contentious and transactional issues. He has developed significant expertise in patent litigation, trademarks, design, copyright, cultural goods and art law, entertainment, software, new technologies and Internet related issues, geographical indications, and anti-counterfeiting.
He graduated in law with honours from the University of Trento in 1995 and was admitted in 2001 to the (Turin) Bar. His legal education has a strong international background and includes: LL.M. (Legum Magister) in German law, University of Regensburg, Germany (1998); Post-graduate Course in International Trade Law, University Institute of European Studies and the International Labour Organisation, Turin (1996); European Legal Studies Programme in French law and Certificat d'Etudes Juridiques Françaises, University of Nancy, France (1993); European Legal Studies Programme in English law, University of Lancaster, UK (1992). He worked for the Turin office of Allen & Overy from 1998 to 2002.
Besides speaking Italian (mother tongue), Luca speaks fluent English, French and German – all of which he uses as working languages – as well as some Swedish.
He was a contributor to Patent Litigation, The Reference series, published by The European Lawyer Ltd in 2006, second edition 2012 and third edition 2016 by Thomson Reuters.
