Laura focuses on intellectual property law in the areas of trademarks, patents, know-how, designs, and unfair competition.
She has experience in litigation and commercial contracts, effectively assisting Italian and international clients in various sectors of the economy, including arts and entertainment, life sciences, technological innovation, infrastructure and transportation, as well as the tobacco industry. In providing legal assistance, Laura demonstrates a keen attention to detail, propensity to listen and ability to view things from the clients’ perspective to better understand their needs and develop the most effective legal strategy.
Professional Experience
Laura joined Jacobacci Avvocati in 2018 and has been a senior associate in the firm since 2024. She works in the Rome office.
Prior to joining the Firm, she completed an internship with the Boards of Appeal of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante, Spain.
Education and Teaching
Law degree with honors from the University of Macerata in 2012.
She graduated from the Graduate School of Legal Professions of the University of Macerata in 2014.
She also earned an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law with distinction from Queen Mary University of London (UK) in 2017.

In March 2023, she also participated as a speaker in the third edition of the course "EWA - ELSA Webinar Academy - Fashionize your Law: Fashion & IP Law," an initiative aimed at an international audience of students and recent graduates focused on the in-depth study of fashion and intellectual property law, with a talk titled "Colour, shapes and patterns: why fashion houses love unconventional trademarks."
She also received a full scholarship to attend the LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University of London (UK).
