Daniela Gervasio

Daniela has experience in patent, trademark, copyright, know-how, trade secret and software protection, both in and out of court, assisting Italian and international clients in a wide range of fields.

Daniela has also experience in the life-science sector by assisting major market players in strategic patent, regulatory and commercial issues.

She has also prosecuted numerous IP rights reinstatement proceedings assisting Italian and international clients before the UIBM, EPO and EUIPO and successfully obtaining the reinstatement of patent, trademark and design rights accidentally lost by the owners.

Professional Experience

Daniela joined Jacobacci Avvocati in 2013 and has been a senior associate in the firm since 2024. She works in the Turin office.

Prior to joining the Firm, Daniela also acquired a solid background in administrative law, working for one of Turin's leading law firms specialising in this field.

Education and Teaching

Law degree with honors from the University of Turin in 2009.

Professional Affiliations

Daniela has been a member of the Turin Bar Association since 2013.

In 2012, she qualified to practice law at the Court of Appeal of Turin.

Daniela has been named an 'IP Rising Star' for Italy since 2018 by Managing Intellectual Property's IP Stars magazine, the leading specialist guide to intellectual property firms and professionals worldwide, which has reaffirmed the recognition several times, most recently in 2024.
